In 1982, Hills For Everyone (HFE) received the Orange County Press Club Award for Community Service. At that time the Feasibility Study for Chino Hills State Park had been completed, HFE had done more than 200 presentations on the vision for the park, and the first five (of 33) acquisitions had occurred by the end of the year.
