HFE Executive Director Claire Schlotterbeck will be making a presentation on the history of the effort to protect our region’s hills to the San Gabriel Valley Chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants. HFE Supports Funds for Conservation

Today, Hills For Everyone (and 16 other conservation organizations) urged state leaders to maintain at least $187 million from the Greenhouse Gas Fund (GGRF) for natural and working lands investments in the 2015-2016 fiscal year. While there are a number of priorities in the GGRF that further define the state’s path forward to a low-carbon future–our natural and working lands must be a key part of this path if we are going to be successful in reaching long-term climate goals. … Read More

40th Anniversary Celebration

Claire Schlotterbeck Honored

Claire Schlotterbeck was surrounded by friends, family, and conservation advocates in a recent ceremony honoring political leaders hosted by the Sierra Club Political Action Committee. Kathryn Phillips, a Sierra Club leader, honored Claire with references to John Muir and the legacy he created with Yosemite.
