Hills For Everyone; Friends of Harbors, Beaches and Parks; Orange County Coastkeeper; and Endangered Habitats League collaborated to negotiate a conservation program into the Orange County Transportation Authority’s Renewed Measure M. Instead of spending money in a piecemeal fashion, conservation groups took it to the next level and asked the Authority to spend it comprehensively—on large scale acquisition and restoration projects.
