Hills For Everyone; Friends of Harbors, Beaches and Parks; Orange County Coastkeeper; and Endangered Habitats League collaborated to negotiate a conservation program into the Orange County Transportation Authority’s Renewed Measure M. OCTA’s Mitigation Program

It isn’t every day that environmental groups work with a transportation agency, but Hills For Everyone partnered, along with more than 30 other conservation groups, to support OCTA’s 1/2 cent sales tax measure (Measure M2) because it included funds for acquisition, restoration, and management of large landscapes. One acquisition, now called Eagle Ridge, is protected bordering Chino Hills State Park in Brea.
