CHINO HILLS STATE PARK will REOPEN TODAY, Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at 8 AM. The park will reopen this morning. There are some areas which still have some standing water. Please walk or ride around these areas to protect the trail. ALERT: The Goldspotted Oak Borer (GSOB) has been discovered in approximately 30 trees at Weir Canyon in northern Orange County. The trees are on regional park/reserve land but within a mile of homes. What can you do to prevent the spread? Do not buy or bring in firewood from other counties. Keep it local. This pest is killing our trees and it is because it is being carried across county lines by people… helping it spread.

Rules about government conduct were created to ensure the public had access to information and were properly noticed about meetings and decisions. The County Planning Commission was meant to review and recommend approval of the Esperanza Hills project above Yorba Linda.
