Supreme Court Won’t Hear Esperanza Hills Case

It is a big disappointment to hear that the California Supreme Court opted not to hear the case on Esperanza Hills. The Orange County Board of Supervisors approved the project–the latest iteration–with a 3-2 vote last September. These 340 multi-million dollar houses are proposed immediately adjacent to Chino Hills State Park. There is one more lawsuit appeal pending. Did you know that 18,000 acres of land have been saved in the Puente-Chino Hills Wildlife Corridor? This Corridor is made up of local, regional, and state owned lands. Orange County Parks has a facility in Brea—124 acres—tucked next to Chino Hills State Park.
