This past weekend staff from Hills For Everyone went to the Wind Wolves Preserve off Maricopa Highway. The Preserve is 93,000 acres in the San Emigdio Mountains adjacent to the Los Padres National Forest. The property was protected several decades ago by The Wildlands Conservancy. Wildlands was founded by Dave Myers. About 20 years before that, Dave also founded Hills For Everyone and Chino Hills State Park. As we have reached the one year anniversary of Dave’s passing, we celebrate all of the beautiful landscapes he and others at Wildlands protected across California and beyond. Thanks to Dave for his vision to protect important landscapes.
