Grant Awarded for Fire Recovery

We are thrilled to report that the California State Parks Foundation awarded Hills For Everyone our full grant request to replace the campground sign, add defensible space and native plants to the slope, and repair the fencing along Bane Canyon Road near the Rolling M Ranch and Barn. Restoration Begins at CHSP

We’ve gotten some questions about land being cleared near South Ridge Trail in Chino Hills State Park. This is the beginnings of a multi-year restoration project funded by two agencies: Caltrans and the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA). The first is mitigation from a fire in Coal Canyon (Caltrans) and the second is mitigation for impacts related to freeway projects (OCTA).
