The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors will be deciding the outcome of the proposed Puente Hills Landfill Park Master Plan Project and its associated environmental impact report. The project lies within the 1,365 acres of the former Puente Hills Landfill near the 60 and 605 freeways. The majority of the park would be on the “top deck” of the landfill covering 117 acres for the formal park area. Hills For Everyone and its partners have provided substantive feedback on this project.
The meeting is Tuesday, October 25th at 9 AM in Room 381B of the Kenneth Hahn Hall of Administration, 500 West Temple Street, Los Angeles, California 90012.
Details on the decision are available in the Public Notice.
