With the Puente Hills Landfill now closed, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisor’s voted on it’s “next iteration.” In a 5-0 vote the project’s Environmental Impact Report and Park Master Plan were accepted. This means trails and other amenities like a gondola, amphitheater, bicycle skills course and more will be added onto the old landfill site. The new park includes about 117 acres.
