A solar farm sounds environmental, but Industry can’t be trusted. Industry’s minions sabotaged the purchase of the Boy Scout Reservation in 2001 when it could have gone to a land trust. Industry’s leaders are now actively spreading the lie that 10,000 houses would go on the land if they don’t buy it. But zoning would not allow 10,000 houses. Measure U in Chino Hills would prevent that. Furthermore, Industry is hiding its plans rather than complying with the law that requires it to provide information to the jurisdiction in which the property lies (Diamond Bar and Chino Hills). And the so called solar farm would be the lynch pin to bulldozing the oak woodlands of the Firestone Scout Reservation for the long desired dams. This is a rogue city with too much money and too few residents (206). They should not be allowed to determine the future of our region.
