Today we participated in a meeting to learn more about the ‪#‎OurParksLA‬ effort. The ultimate goal is to get another park bond measure on the ballot–for this November–that allows for natural lands acquisitions, improvements to trails and park infrastructure, improves our water quality, and keeps our community and families safe. The focus is local park money specifically in Los Angeles County. LA County Supervisor Hilda Solis was the opening speaker for the event. Solis has a been a supporter of the Wildlife Corridor in the past. We’ll keep you posted on this topic as things develop.
