We know that balloons are fun. We know that your kids love to release them (or sometimes accidentally release them) and you like to make your kids and grandkids happy, but releasing balloons is bad for the planet. When you release foil balloons they can fly into power lines and not only knock out electricity, but also start fires. Animals can be attracted to balloons. When they land in the park, animals may try to eat them or get caught in them. They also make our parks look bad. Be aware of the impact.
