Fun Fact – There are several types of sage in the Puente-Chino Hills Wildlife Corridor. White sage is particularly fragrant. If you gently rub your fingers on the leaves you can smell it–no need to break it off! Native Nations used white sage in ceremonies, for medicinal purposes, in food, and to help repel insects.
