Tonight we are at a special meeting of the Rowland Height Community Coordinating Council with many area residents. Why? The L.A. County Regional Planning Department recently initiated a study group to develop an East San Gabriel Valley (ESGV) Plan.

The plan will focus on topics related to land use, open space, housing, and other issues in the unincorporated areas of the ESGV area. An important feature of the plan will be how it modifies the ordinances governing the development and use of land in the Significant Ecological Areas (SEA’s) in our hills.
