Hills For Everyone celebrated the upcoming retirement of its Executive Director Claire Schlotterbeck. With a crowd of nearly 200 people gathered at Chino Hills State Park, it was the perfect setting for a warm send off to the woman who carried the vision of the State Park forward for nearly five decades. From elected officials to State Park staff, donors and friends, family and supporters—the crowd was grateful for the significant work Claire has accomplished in her conservation career. Speakers explained her work with the Legislature, Department of Parks and Recreation, the influence this work had on her family, and the legacy she’s left.
