Brea Might Create Environment Committee

Residents in Brea have raised concerns over oil operations in the City, specifically hydraulic fracturing (also known as fracking). OC Register Columnist Terry Daxon discussed this topic in a recent article. She asked Hills For Everyone if this was under its purview. Today, Hills For Everyone and the Stop Madrona team attended the court hearing before Judge Moss at the Superior Court of California (in Santa Ana). Hills For Everyone has partnered with the Brea Improv to host a fundraiser for our Stop Madrona efforts. Download the event flyer. Join us on Saturday, November 7, 2015 from 5:30 – 8:30 PM. State Park Staff Grows!

Chino Hills State Park has just hired three new personnel – two rangers and an interpreter. The two rangers are transferring from coastal parks – Eric Christiansen and Frank Schaefer. The Interpreter, Frances McKeeken, is coming up from San Diego. They will all be on board by the second week of November. Please welcome them when you see them.
