Did you know that there are bees native to California that nest in the ground, not in a hive? Yep! This photo was taken on the Puente Hills Habitat Preservation Authority’s Sycamore Canyon Preserve. They become more active in spring. You can see their bee burrows in the ground and they are perfectly circular. Give them space–as we need bees to pollinate the flowers and crops!
When the conditions are right, Hills For Everyone takes to the air to see what the latest and greatest views provide of the Puente-Chino Hills Wildlife Corridor. See what these 2017 aerial photographs reveal.
