Supervisors Deal Big Blow to Esperanza Hills Project

Under the leadership of Supervisor Todd Spitzer, the Board of Supervisors, dealt a significant blow to the Esperanza Hills project at the March 10th meeting. The developer failed to get permissions to build the project. Rather, he was instructed to work with the City of Yorba Linda to comply with the City’s higher standards. The County of Orange, at the direction of Supervisor Todd Spitzer, will host a public forum on Thursday March 5th from 6:30 – 8:00 PM at Travis Ranch School in Yorba Linda. County staff will be available to answer questions about the 340 unit Esperanza Hills housing project on the hills above Yorba Linda but outside of the city limits.
