AB 2021 Passes First Committee

On the great news front… The bill we’ve partnered on (AB 2021) with Assemblyman Phillip Chen made it through its first committee (Assembly Water, Parks, and Wildlife) yesterday on consent. It is now scheduled to go to Assembly Appropriations. Keep your fingers crossed! Cougar Now a Candidate Species

A video/conference call/live stream meeting started at 9:30 this morning. The agenda item we were waiting for was #32 (of 33). The item began at 3:45, with comments starting around 4:30. Our item ended at 5:53. Who hangs on a call for more than six hours? We do. Why? A Walk In the Park

We managed to get some fresh air yesterday, as allowed by the Governor’s Executive Order, by visiting Chino Hills State Park just after the trails had opened. It was peaceful, it was quiet, and a few others had the same idea. Here is a short video from Upper Aliso Trail. Please stay safe. We will get through this together—enjoy the beauty of nature.
