A lot of the projects Hills For Everyone has opposed are in Very High (or High) Fire Hazard Severity Zones (i.e., Hidden Oaks – Chino Hills, Madrona – Brea, and Esperanza Hills – above Yorba Linda). Hidden Oaks For Sale

Another twist in the Hidden Oaks property in Carbon Canyon! The landowner has put the property on the market for $66M. The original proposal had included 107 houses but after major concerns were raised by us and others about wildfire and access, it was redrawn down to 53 houses. A developer sponsored informational meeting will be held at Western Hills Country Club (1800 Carbon Canyon Road in Chino Hills) on Thursday, February 6th at 6:30 PM to discuss the proposed Hidden Oaks project.The project site is zoned for 107 units on 537 acres and has been downsized to 53 units.  The developer will show their newly designed plan for the residential development. For reference, the property is across the street from the Circle K store.
