Threat to the Harbor Undercrossing

At the end of June, the County of Los Angeles was set to sell ~28 acres of land next to the Harbor Blvd. undercrossing to the City of La Habra Heights. This is concerning for a number of reasons. The Habitat Authority manages nearly 4,000 acres of protected open space west of Harbor Boulevard. When Harbor Blvd. was widened and straightened in the early 1990s, collisions with migrating wildlife soared.
