This video captures some of the highlights of our work from 2020 including acquisition and conservation of 320 acres, PowerPoint presentations, support of the Chino Hills State Park Trail Plan, and legislation to save raptors and owls from rat poison. We were saddened to hear the spiritual leader of the Gabrieleño Band of Mission Indians’ Kizh nation, Chief Ernest “Ernie” Perez Teutimez Salas, died at age 88. The Puente-Chino Hills Wildlife Corridor is within the Kizh nation’s ancestral lands. May his legacy live on, his teachings be remembered, and the tribe’s work continue.
