HFE Supports Wildlife Corridor Language in Legislation

with No Comments

Hills For Everyone just signed on to a support letter for SBX1-1.  This legislation would provide more funding for wildlife crossings throughout the state by adding wildlife corridor projects as eligible to receive funds from a newly-created Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation Program. This new language also requires the CTC to evaluate transportation projects partially on their effectiveness to increase habitat connectivity. Thanks to Senator Beall for adding the language.
