Reception for Secretary Crowfoot

We were honored to participate in a reception to introduce Southern California conservation non-profits to the new Secretary of Natural Resources Wade Crowfoot. The Natural Resources Agency oversees the California Department of Parks and Recreation. It was a beautiful evening among friends at the Los Angeles State Historic Park.

New Leader at Habitat Authority

We are thrilled that Michael Hughes is the new Board President of the Puente Hills Habitat Preservation Authority. Congrats on the new responsibilities, Mike! His background, knowledge, and love of the Wildlife Corridor will serve this new role well! As a side note, Mike has served on the Hills For Everyone Board for years–currently as President. Visitors Asked to Stay on Trails

Many of our local natural lands are experiencing a wildflower bloom. Did you know picking the flowers is not allowed? (They are a protected resource.)
