In a very contrasting post to our last one, we are excited to announce that our Chino Hills State Park expansion bill (SB 266 – Senator Josh Newman) unanimously passed the Assembly Appropriations Committee this morning. Next up the Assembly Floor vote.

A great article on the recent purchase next to Chino Hills State Park. Included in the article was how the land was funded for acquisition. Funds were used from the deer and mountain lion fund–a voter approved proposition (Prop 117). There are both deer and mountain lions in this area! Keep it wild!
