Claire Schlotterbeck was surrounded by friends, family, and conservation advocates in a recent ceremony honoring political leaders hosted by the Sierra Club Political Action Committee.  Kathryn Phillips, a Sierra Club leader, honored Claire with references to John Muir and the legacy he created with Yosemite.  Claire created the legacy here, with help from many others, with the establishment of Chino Hills State Park.  The event was held at the Chino Hills State Park Discovery Center.  Congratulations to Claire!  An honor … Read More

Local leader Claire Schlotterbeck, Executive Director of Hills For Everyone, is receiving one of the 2015 Political Leadership Awards at the event venue in Chino Hills State Park, the park she helped found. Chino Hills State Park: The Beginnings

Executive Director Claire Schlotterbeck will be the featured speaker at the Chino Hills Historical Society’s meeting next Monday night.  The topic of her presentation is the “Chino Hills State Park: \u000bHow and Why it all Began.”  We’d welcome your attendance at this free event.  The meeting, at the Chino Hills Community Center, 14250 Peyton Drive, begins at 7 PM.
