Claire Schlotterbeck was surrounded by friends, family, and conservation advocates in a recent ceremony honoring political leaders hosted by the Sierra Club Political Action Committee. Kathryn Phillips, a Sierra Club leader, honored Claire with references to John Muir and the legacy he created with Yosemite. Local leader Claire Schlotterbeck, Executive Director of Hills For Everyone, is receiving one of the 2015 Political Leadership Awards at the event venue in Chino Hills State Park, the park she helped found. Sierra Club invites you to attend the Angeles Chapter Political Action Committee fundraiser event acknowledging environmental leaders from Orange, Los Angeles, Riverside, and San Diego Counties. The topic of her presentation is the “Chino Hills State Park: \u000bHow and Why it all Began.” We’d welcome your attendance at this free event.
