Vacation to the Planets Event

The Chino Hills State Park Interpretive Association is sponsoring an event at the State Park on August 12th. It will be first come, first served and is limited to the first 100 cars or 250 people. The cost is $10 per car. Interested attendees can check in at 4721 Sapphire Road in Chino Hills. Status of Park Bonds

Three park bond acts are under consideration: Senate Bill 5, Assembly Bill 18, and an initiative by The Nature Conservancy. There has not been a Park Bond Act since 2000. It is expected that the two houses of the Legislature will reach agreement on one measure and, for the first time, it appears the Governor may sign a park bond act.
