Today we heard from Resources Legacy Fund staffer Matt Keller about five active National Monument campaigns in California. One of them is in our area–the San Gabriel Mountains National Monument. If successful, this designation would add protections to 109,000 acres to federal lands.
Hills For Everyone focuses its efforts on the preservation of the Puente-Chino Hills Wildlife Corridor. This video captures some of the highlights of our work from 2023. Three key projects are featured in the video. First was the collaboration to stop the Brea Canyon Road widening project. Second, was the support for the East San Gabriel Valley Area Plan.
