Join residents, organizations, agencies and the Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation as it unveils the proposed plans for the Puente Hills Landfill site. The Final Park Concept and Environmental Scoping meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at 6:30 PM. It will be located at Don Julian Elementary School (13855 Don Julian Road, La Puente).
Three workshops were held between August and November 2015 to garner public input on the future of the Puente Hills Landfill site. This landfill is one of the largest in America and based on public feedback will be transformed into LA County’s newest Regional Park.
