The US Senate just proposed selling off up to 3.25 million acres of public lands—including lands in California—to fund tax cuts for billionaires.

From Big Bear to South Yuba, public lands you love could be privatized under a dangerous new Senate Bill.

California has a lot to lose.

The Senate’s proposal threatens critical habitat, sacred tribal lands, recreation areas, and watersheds—all to benefit large corporations and the ultra-wealthy.

Places like Castle Peak, Caples Creek, and Cow Mountain could be sold off for profit. This bill is a direct attack on California’s wild lands.

This bill cuts the public out of land use decisions, fast-tracks development, and weakens environmental review—putting profits over people and the planet.

Hills For Everyone strongly opposes this public land sell-off scheme. All Americans deserve access to clean air, clean water, and protected wildlands—not giveaways to developers.

This is more than land. It’s our way of life. Hiking, hunting, fishing, and camping are at risk.

Tell Congress: our lands aren’t for sale.
