The La Habra Heights City Council is worried about a potential landslide on Hacienda Blvd. after reviewing a geotechnical study on the road. The City issued a state of emergency and has closed the route connecting Hacienda Heights to La Habra for a least a year. They are working to fund the repairs with state and federal funds. This area has slid before, according to officials at the City. It is one of the most tenuous portions of the wildlife corridor.
