Hmmmm. The City of Industry is getting audited by the state AGAIN. This is the second time in three years that the City has been audited. As the article states, “The controller’s previous audit of Industry found “the potential for fraud, waste and abuse of public resources was extremely high.” New reforms were supposed to have been created, time will tell if that is true. Wildlife Corridor Secured

Congrats to local conservation groups (The Nature Conservancy included) and wildlife researchers for this much needed purchase in Riverside County. Without this connection in the Palomar Range, wildlife in the Santa Ana Mountains (and therefore, Puente-Chino Hills), would be stranded (geographically and genetically). Over time, inbreeding would occur within the population and the species would die out. Great work keeping this top level predator (the cougar) safe. East San Gabriel Valley Plan Meeting
