Did you know that 18,000 acres of land have been saved in the Puente-Chino Hills Wildlife Corridor? This Corridor is made up of local, regional, and state owned lands. Orange County Parks has a facility in Brea—124 acres—tucked next to Chino Hills State Park. It appears the reminder needs to be made that fireworks are illegal in all of the communities surrounding the Puente-Chino Hills Wildlife Corridor. This is the second fire for the Puente Hills Habitat Preservation Authority in or near its preserves in just as many weeks. Please do not set off fireworks, they impact wildlife, can easily start fires, and can lead to devastating wildfires. View the KTLA News cast.
