Brea Brush Fire on 4th of July

Brea Brush Fire on 4th of July

with No Comments

In case you hadn’t heard there was a 2-3 acre brush fire in Carbon Canyon (Brea side) around 2:30 this morning (July 4th). Below are a few photos. Damp morning conditions, low winds, and low temps appear to have aided the fire agencies working the fire. It appears the fire burned the OCTA ‪‎Hayashi‬ Preserve.

This is an IMPORTANT reminder to follow all local rules about fireworks. Tubes, spinners, sparklers, bottle rockets, firecrackers, etc. are ALL fireworks. Do NOT risk a wildfire or personal injury and it is against the law in all cities surrounding Chino Hills State Park.
