TBT: When the State could not afford park operation (even though acquisition had begun), Hills For Everyone volunteers offered to operate Chino Hills State Park. Between 1982-84, it was opened for limited public use. This endeavor marked the first time in state history that a non-profit group of volunteers was entrusted with such a task.
