New Leader at Habitat Authority

We are thrilled that Michael Hughes is the new Board President of the Puente Hills Habitat Preservation Authority. Congrats on the new responsibilities, Mike! His background, knowledge, and love of the Wildlife Corridor will serve this new role well! As a side note, Mike has served on the Hills For Everyone Board for years–currently as President. Habitat Authority Preserve Hours Change

The Puente Hills Habitat Preservation Authority launches new hours for Sycamore Canyon, Turnbull Canyon, and Hacienda Hills. Starting Monday, September 18th, the Preserves (above) open at 9 AM and close at 5 PM. This changes in June to 6 PM.

The Puente Hills Habitat Authority Preserve hours are changing effective Monday, September 18, 2017… please make note. June – September 9 AM – 6 PM October – May 9 AM – 5 PM This applies to Sycamore Canyon, Hacienda Hills, and Turnbull Canyon trail access points. It is already in effect at Hellman Park. Violators subject to $175 – $1,000 fine.
