Hills For Everyone has posted the Pathways to 30×30 Workshop offered to the Southland 30×30 Power In Nature Coalition run by Conservation Consultant Melanie Schlotterbeck. The presentation by Assistant Secretary of Habitat and Biodiversity Madeline Drake on January 23, 2023 is 40 minutes long. PUBLIC Lands Act Would Save Land

The PUBLIC Lands Act is championed by U.S. Sen. Alex Padilla and Reps. Carbajal, Chu and Huffman. The bill would protect over 500 miles of rivers and more than one million acres of public lands, including in Northwest California, the Los Angeles region, and the Central Coast. Earlier this week the California Natural Resources Agency hosted the 30×30 Kick Off Event. The 30×30 Campaign aims to protect 30% of California’s natural lands and waters by 2030. Hills For Everyone is ready to help. In fact, our Conservation Consultant Melanie Schlotterbeck is part of the 30×30 Partnership Coordinating Committee bringing non-profits and community groups together to work with the State to accomplish this goal.
