We were saddened to see that a three year old was attacked by a mountain lion in Whiting Ranch Wilderness Park this weekend. This is a solid reminder that we have eye-witness accounts of a cougar in Chino Hills State Park. Please educate yourself on how to respond to wildlife encounters and how to remain safe. It appears the boy will be fine and was released from the hospital already, however, the mountain lion was euthanized.
