Once the sun has set, you want to be sure that you keep your night vision eyes adjusted to the darkness. Avoid lighting and car headlights if at all possible. Consider getting a red light filter for any light source you use. This will help you keep your eyes adjusted to the night’s dim light.
Consider heading to a place that has very little light pollution. If you live in Southern California this likely means you’re going to need to head to the desert. A few options could include Joshua Tree National Park or Anza Borrego Desert State Park.

The City of Chino Hills – Municipal Government is updating its 2020 Local Hazard Mitigation Plan. This Plan identifies Chino Hills specific hazards, and provides strategies and implementation measures to adapt to and overcome those hazards. Your input is needed by August 15th. Take the survey.
