In 2026, Hills For Everyone will update its Wildfire Study to include another eight years of data. The goal is understanding where, when, why, and how fires start near Chino Hills State Park.

It isn’t every day that environmental groups work with a transportation agency, but Hills For Everyone partnered, along with more than 30 other conservation groups, to support OCTA’s 1/2 cent sales tax measure (Measure M2) because it included funds for acquisition, restoration, and management of large landscapes. One acquisition, now called Eagle Ridge, is protected bordering Chino Hills State Park in Brea.
