The Powder Canyon trail is a majestic oak woodland located in the hills adjacent to the city of La Habra Heights. National Trails Day
Celebrate National Trails Day with your family. Love hiking? Got kids? So how do you persuade kids to enjoy hiking and the outdoors as much as you do? Dog Pack Hike
Bring your best furry friend to the Preserve for some exercise and socialization. Join a 2 mile easy dog hike for you and your canine buddy! Meet up with fellow dogs and dog owners and enjoy nature together. Dogs must remain leashed at all times, participants remove their dogs’ droppings from the trails, please provide adequate water for them. We also expect the dogs to remain under reasonable control during our hikes.

Come with sturdy shoes and be ready to get dirty and possibly paint! We will have beautification projects such as painting, raking, and weeding. There will also be a craft table and a snack/water station. Please bring a refillable water bottle since we are trying to reduce our use of plastics.
