Hills For Everyone is pleased to support Speaker pro Tem Kevin de Leon’s Senate Bill 5 called: California Drought, Water, Parks, Climate, Coastal Protection, and Outdoor Access For All Act of 2018. This is the first time in 12 years a park bond act could fund important conservation projects in California. We’ve also supported the “sister” bill in the Assembly (Assembly Bill 18, which was put forward by Assemblymember Eduardo Garcia). Stay tuned for how this plays out. It may go before voters in 2018 if it passes both houses and is signed by the Governor. We will let you know.
