On the “good news” front: Southland monuments may be spared from size reductions. The closest National Monument to the Puente-Chino Hills Wildlife Corridor (the San Gabriel Mountains National Monument) was NOT included in the list of monuments proposed for reduction. We must remain attentive to this issue, so stay tuned.
