Wow. This was a complete about face for the courts. The Matrix Oil project decision, which had been stopped in the court, was just reversed. The old contract between Whittier and Matrix is expired. This decision allows the oil company and the City to renegotiate a new contract and specific terms for oil drilling in the Puente Hills Preserve.
