About the Corridor:  Chino Hills Access

Chino Hills State Park (CHSP) manages 14,000 acres on the eastern side of the hills. Over 65 miles of multi-use trails are available along canyons and ridge lines offering views throughout the Park and surrounding area. A trail map is also available and more information can be obtained at 951-780-6222.

Soquel Canyon Road
This is the “vehicle” entrance into the camping and day use area of the State Park. Take the 71 freeway in Chino Hills to Soquel Canyon road, exit toward the hills and look for signs to the State Park. Turn left on Elinvar and then left on Sapphire. The entrance is on the right. Take the dirt road into the hills for three miles to the ranger station and the barn at the Rolling M Ranch area.

Carbon Canyon
Another entrance to CHSP is in Brea adjacent to Carbon Canyon Park. It is safest to park your car in the regional park. Plans are underway to build a visitor center in this location. This is a hike-in entrance.

rim crest
A third entrance to CHSP is in Yorba Linda at Rim Crest. Take Yorba Linda Blvd. to Fairmont. Turn north on Fairmont toward the hills. Turn left on Rim Crest and park at the top of the hill near the dirt road. Parking here is restricted so read the signs.
